WordPress + ebay = Unlimited Potential For Earnings

There is a very active community of writers and marketing geniuses that have helped me and a few other people to maximize the potential of WordPress-built blogs.Using a script called PHPbayPro, it is very easy to make quite a good living off of auctions that are posted on Ebay. You help other merchants all the while you are getting commissions for listing their goods on your sites. Take a look at a bunch of the “key” features of this program and feel free to add it to as many niche sites as you can handle. The ceiling is created by you based on how many sites you would like to maintain.

What I love about this script is that you can integrate it completely into your own theme very easily. The other solutions that I have tried (including the popular BANS script) forces you into using a very generic type theme, and most BANS stores all look very similar. I am sure it would be very easy for Google to detect these cookie-cutter type site footprints, and to reduce their rankings in the search engines.

phpBay works completely differently. Its not possible for any of the search engines to detect that your site is using an eBay script as it leaves no footprint at all.

Using phpBay Pro, all it takes to display auction listings is to add a single line of text into your post, or your page, wherever you want the auctions to show.

Here is an example of a phpBay command that will display a nicely formatted block of 5 auctions of Nintendo Wii products on your post – [phpbay]Wii,5,””,””[/phpbay]

The above example is a very simple one, and as you learn more about phpBay Pro you will make use of many of the other more advanced features that the script offers.

If you are interested in making some money on the internet then all you need to do is –

  1. Sign up for eBays Affiliate program here.
  2. Buy yourself a copy of phpBay Pro here.
  3. Build yourself a few niche stores.

I paid $49 for an UNLIMITED license. This means that you can use the script to build as many sites as you like. It also includes a lifetime of free upgrades.

My software paid for itself within 5 days of putting my very first site online.

Now you know how to show eBay auctions in WordPress quickly and easily.

Where To Put The Thousands Of Digital Photos?

We have a new digital camera that can take still and video images. The photos we have taken will be stored on external media and some type of digital photo frame. You could always leave them on the memory card, but that would get rather expensive, so let’s explore a few other options.
1. Transfer your images onto your computer. Most cameras come with a wire to connect your camera to your computer, a CD with a downloading program and an instruction booklet. Transferring the images is fast and simple. Once they are on the computer, you can delete the images from your memory card and start taking more photos.
2. Burn your images onto a CD. If you have a CD burner on your computer, you can make photo discs to store or share with others. When it comes to pictures, it is often best to use a CD that can’t be written over. This will save the heartache of losing precious photos. Label the CD and store it where it can be gotten easily when you need to see your pictures.
3. Store your images on a public web site. There are many photo-hosting sites on the internet. Some charge for the service, but many are completely free. You have the choice to password-protect your images or share them with the world. This option helps if your computer should crash. Your pictures are safe.
4. Print your images and place them in a photo album. Many people still like turning the pages of a photo album and reviewing the memories. This also makes it possible for those without a computer to view your pictures.

5. Create a photo gift. I found a site that specializes in these types of digital photo frames for personal use and corporate gift use. These make wonderful gifts and provide a way to keep a cherished picture near at all times.

These are just a few suggestions. Using your creativity, you will come up with many more ideas.

HDPE Vs. Aluminum – Recycling Efforts And A Possible Energy Alternative?

There is a lot of energy that we can harness if we only seek to research and develop the technologies needed to do so. We can get away from the fossil fuels and the old electrical grids by turning to alternatives to these energy sources.

One of these alternative energy resources is wind power. Wind turbines continue to be developed that are progressively more energy efficient and less costly. “Wind farms” have been springing up in many nations, and they have even become more strategically placed over time so that they are not jeopardizing birds as former wind turbines did.

Another alternative energy resource is the one that is most well known: solar energy. This involves the manufacturing of solar cells which gather and focus the energy given off directly by the sun, and translate it into electricity or, in some cases, hot water. As with wind energy, solar energy creates absolutely zero pollution.

What are some of the ways you may have seen the energy of recycling of aluminum and Scrap HDPE? Surely there could be some energy savings or alternative to garbage burning that can be utilized. I used to marvel at the Fumes of the towers in NJ that showed a weird looking “yellow” haze when the garbage from New York City was burned.

Microsoft Vista SP1 Already Experiencing Problems

[phpbay]microsoft vista, 5, “”, “”[/phpbay]

Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) went onto Microsoft’s Download Center website on Monday, fulfilling Microsoft’s claim that it would be made available by mid March. According to Microsoft, the service pack will be pushed out via automatic updates to all Vista users next month.

Standalone installers for both versions of Vista, 32-bit and 64-bit, have been made available.

According to web retailer Amazon, boxed copies of Windows Vista with SP1 will be available on Wednesday in the US, and Amazon UK has the updated operating system listed for retail release on 4 April. However, Vista SP1 is available now from Microsoft’s Download Center.

Vista SP1 is a roll-up of previous updates that have been pushed out to users of Microsoft’s latest operating system since its release. The updates supposedly improve Vista’s performance, but a prerequisite piece of software, labelled KB937287, had to be pulled by Microsoft in February as it caused problems with some third-party programs .

Microsoft admitted on its Vista team blog that users may still experience problems with drivers.

Satellite Phones Still Have A Way To Go Against Cellular

Do you really want to be available for anyone and everyone on a 24/7 basis? What do I mean? A famous person once said that the more available you make yourself; the more available everyone will expect you to be. People will actually be annoyed if you are not instantly and constantly available rather than being pleased when you do call. People expecting you to be available all the time may be annoying. Satellite Phone calls follow you everywhere you are including your bathroom. Even during nighttime when you want to rest, cell phones continue to ring and annoy you. If it is important, no problem but if it is very menial, why you need to be bothered so late.

Today in this modern society, we live in and the proliferation of cell phones we see people talking anywhere and everywhere. If used for business, this may prove to be very effective and worthy. However, for very menial issues being bothered in your sleep and even during your bathroom time may be quite annoying if not outright disgusting. However, if you make yourself available all the time, you created your own nightmare.

Cell phone etiquette is getting to be a forgotten concept. You will see people talking on the phone loudly and disturbs people nearby in restaurants and even in offices. I am sure by now, once or twice in a meeting you will notice that when a cell phone rings, almost everyone around will immediately look for their cell phones. If you were the one talking, and then the person in front of you talks on his phone, how would you feel? I am sure you will feel belittled and ignored. Rude practice, and should be changed.

It may help people who use cell phones to follow certain degree of etiquette with respect to the use of cell phones specially in places where you may seem rude if you use or even when your cell phone rings.

When you are in a place of worship, it may be necessary to leave your cell phone in the house or at least turn it off if you do not want to be away with it. This is because ringing cell phone will not just disturb you while you pray it will also disturb others.  You do not need to show off your expensive gadget in a place of worship.

Flybook V5 – The Fly In Apple’s Ointment

Flybook V5

Another year, another gargantuan tech show in Hannover, Germany. Despite shrinking in size and popularity, Europe’s largest IT event, CeBit, continues to be a draw for new and exciting technology. Here, a look at just a few of the mobile offerings on display at CeBit 2008, which runs through Sunday.

The Flybook V5 from Tennessee-based Dialogue Technology is one of the smallest Vista-capable laptops available (its manufacturers claim it’s the smallest). The laptop weighs about 2.6 pounds and is slightly larger than a sheet of A5 paper at about 9 inches by 6.5 inches.

Within its 1.2-inch-thick case it packs an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV (ultra low voltage) processor running at 1.2GHz; 2GB of RAM that can be expanded to 4GB; and an 80GB hard drive. It has built-in Bluetooth and 802.11 a/b/g wireless networking, together with an HSDPA data card and a 1.3-megapixel camera.

The one feature it lacks is a mouse pointer: that’s because the 8.9-inch WXGA screen is touch-sensitive. Dialogue claims up to five hours of battery life for the notebook. Prices range from $1,700 to $2,000.

A Gadget Guru’s Saviour In A Time Of Need

If you’re like me, always on the go-constantly checking email and using your devices and running the energy down on them. I think the best recharging station around can be found here at a site that sells rather unique gifts for the up and coming mobile individual. Charging Station has really good bank of outlets and a utility drawer that could be used to stow keys and other things that are kept in the pockets. Yeah, I know where is the gadget to reind you to open up the tray and check for your pocket goodies. Mind you, I didn’t say that this was a foolproof device but a rather useful device for recharging a mixture of devices. So check it out and maybe peruse some of the other unusual gifts found at Vat19.

Blu-Ray On The Way Out Now?

Many of us less than digitally enabled gotta have the next gadgets types are scratching our heads again. I recently found another article listing the potential to have Blu-ray going the way of HD-DVD. Most of the premise to this story is based on the fact that today’s media consumer is more than likely to purchase entire seasons of their favorite shows or even single episodes from online media giants like Netflix and other proprietary online services.

What are your thoughts on this information and do you think it will have an impact on whether you will buy physical discs or stream and download your personal media?

Please comment your ideas.

Hosting Services Still Very Complex To Choose

How do you choose a hosting provider when there are thousands of hosting companies available online? It’s like going through the yellow pages trying to find burger restaurants. There are lots of them. Hopefully these tips will steer you in the right direction.Important factors in selecting a web hosting company include the percentage of server uptime. 98 to 99% uptime is the dream standard for server uptime, 65% is unacceptable. The higher the downtime of a server, the lower the potential for traffic at your web site. Another consideration is how much space is provided for the files that will make up your web site. How much bandwidth is in your package? Monthly bandwidth is the amount of data transfer allowed for visitors to view and use your web site.

With today’s changing trends in small business web hosting services, it is important to get as much server space and bandwidth as you can. This will allow for necessary updates and increased traffic to your site as it becomes more popular.

It is equally important when purchasing business web hosting that CGI access is provided; along with features such as MySQL, Real Audio, Real Video, and Cold Fusion. All of these are really great moves to make but I prefer to stick to a tried and true larger host, especially for business services.
